As a contracting party to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Zambian Government through the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources (MTENR) is obliged under Article 26 of the Convention to periodically prepare national reports that highlight the status of implementation of the provision of the CBD and related decisions made at meetings of the CBD's Conference of Parties.
