The objective of the project is to develop a National Adaptation Programme of Action (NAPA) that will serve as a road map for the country towards the implementation of climate change adaptation activities that will contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 7 – Ensuring Environmental Sustainability and promotion of sustainable development.
The NAPA process will consist of identification of all coping activities for climate change, prioritising them and formulating priority projects for adaptation as well as strengthening the capacity to adapt to longer-term climate changes and contribute towards raising awareness about the urgency to adapt to adverse effects of climate and climate change
